Go to care.tavahealth.com/live-session and click Join Session. Bookmark this link for easy access to future sessions.
Sessions are conducted within Tava's own video platform — no external Zoom links or phone calls are needed. You and your provider will be able to see and hear each other in real time, similar to a Zoom or FaceTime call.
Don't have a Tava account? Click the Join Session link in your reminder email instead.
What to expect before your session
- A confirmation email is sent when you schedule your session.
- A reminder email and text are sent 24 hours and 15 minutes before your session.
Pre-session assessment: If it's been more than 14 days since your last mental health check-in, you'll be asked to complete a brief assessment (about 2–3 minutes) before your session begins. You'll be reminded on your Tava home page and in your appointment reminders. Completing it early means you can join without any delay — if you haven't finished it before joining, you'll complete it in the virtual waiting room. Sessions cannot begin until the assessment is done.
Devices and connection
You can join from any smartphone, tablet, or computer with an internet connection. For the best experience, we recommend a laptop or desktop with Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
If you're using a cellular connection (5G/4G/LTE), turn off noise cancellation and background effects in your video settings to maintain a stable connection.
Make sure your browser is up to date for the best performance on Tava's video platform.

*Noise cancellation is not available in Safari browsers. To adjust any of these settings, select the Settings icon in the top right corner of your session.
Troubleshooting login issues
Wrong email address: Make sure you're signing in with the email address you used to schedule your appointment.
Forgotten password:
- Go to care.tavahealth.com and click Forgot Password.
- Check your email for a reset link — it should arrive within 15 minutes.
- If you don't see it, check your Spam or Junk folder.
Duplicate accounts: If you've accidentally created accounts under different email addresses, your data may be split. Contact client-support@tavahealth.com to merge your accounts.

In-person sessions
Tava sessions are virtual by default. If you'd prefer to meet in person, select a provider who offers in-person appointments when scheduling.
