HIPAA Compliance and Data Retention
Tava Health is a HIPAA-compliant entity. This means that, while accounts can be deactivated, medical records and other health information are subject to legally required retention periods. As a result, personal health records cannot be permanently deleted upon request.
Deactivating Your Tava Health Account
If you no longer wish to use your Tava Health account, you can request account deactivation by contacting client-support@tavahealth.com. Here’s how deactivation works:
- Once your account is deactivated, you will no longer be able to log in or access any platform services.
- If you created multiple accounts using different email addresses, you must request deactivation for each associated account individually.
- Should you decide to return to Tava Health services in the future, your account can be reactivated, allowing you to resume care.
