During therapy sessions on the Tava Video platform, you will be asked to allow access to your camera and microphone. If you accidentally block these permissions, don't worry! We'll help you fix it.
Edge on Desktop Computer
If your camera and microphone are blocked in your Microsoft Edge browser, follow these instructions to re-enable them for your Tava therapy session.
- Click the lock icon on the left of the address bar.
- In the drop-down menus next to camera and microphone, select Allow.
- Refresh the page.
If your camera and microphone are still disabled, you may need to reset the site permissions:
- When you are in your Tava therapy session link, click the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
- Click Site Permissions next to the gear icon.
- At the bottom of the settings page, click Reset permissions.
- Refresh the page.
- You'll be asked again to allow access to your camera and microphone and be sure to select Allow.
If you accidentally denied access to your device's camera and microphone, you'll need to reset your device permissions.
