On the Tava Video platform, you will be asked to allow access to your camera and microphone. If you accidentally block these permissions, don't worry! We'll help you fix it.
If your camera and microphone are blocked in your Firefox browser, follow these instructions to re-enable them for your Tava therapy session.
Firefox on Mac or Windows
- Click the camera icon to the left of the address bar.
- Then click the X to remove the Blocked Temporarily status from both the camera and microphone.
- Lastly, refresh the page.
If this doesn't work, you can reset your Firefox browser permissions:
- Open the menu and go to Preferences or Options.
- Scroll down to Privacy & Security.
- Go to Cookies & Site Data.
- Select Clear Data.
- Return to the Tava website and refresh the page.
- You'll be asked to allow access to your camera and microphone. Select Allow.
Firefox on Mobile
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Go to Apps & App permissions.
- Select Firefox from your list of installed apps.
- Open Permissions and ensure your camera and microphone are toggled on.
- Quit then re-open your Firefox app.
