Changing providers once or twice before finding the right fit is common and completely normal. You may choose to switch providers at Tava Health when seeking a fresh therapeutic perspective or if you require specialized services. There is no "wrong" reason to make a change. Even if you're just not sure and want to keep exploring, that is totally valid! We are here to help you through it.
It's easy to change providers on Tava. Simply click “Change Therapist” next to your provider's photo in your Tava account.
Select a reason for making a change. No changes will be made until after you choose and confirm a new provider. Once the change is confirmed, we'll let your previous provider know with the reason you selected. Any additional details you provide will not be shared with your previous provider.
You'll be able to filter all available options to select a new provider. If you change your mind, simply select "Stick with Current Therapist" in the top right corner.
After you've chosen a new provider, schedule your first session. This will also cancel any scheduled appointments with your current provider. The change will not go into effect until you confirm.
