To optimize your and your therapist’s time and maintain scheduling flexibility, late cancellations and no-shows may result in a fee.
Avoiding Fees
To prevent charges, make sure to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance through your Tava account.
When Fees Apply
• If you cancel, reschedule, or no-show (arriving more than 15 minutes late) within 24 hours, your provider may charge a fee, depending on their policy.
• Fee details will be displayed before you confirm a late cancellation or reschedule request.
•Health insurance, employer coverage, and HSA cards cannot be used to pay cancellation or no-show fees.
•To add an additional method to cover late cancellation and no-show fees, please visit care.tavahealth.com/billing.
You can review your provider’s fee policy before scheduling and anytime in their profile.
Requesting a Fee Waiver
If you believe a fee was charged in error, you can request a waiver within 72 hours by messaging your provider. Click the envelope icon next to their name to reach out.
